POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
Dedicated BI&A expert for the defined functional area (Corporate Digital, Commercial, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain or Environmental and Safety).
Serves as functional expert in BI&A business processes and data analytics.
Analyze business needs and provide advice and solutions that deliver business value involving a moderate to high level of complexity.
Design and create data sets and visualizations as needed.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Seven plus years' experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI.
Good verbal and written communication and data presentation skills including an ability to effectively communicate with both functional and technical teams.
Troubleshooting skills, analytical ability, experience in mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrated experience delivering business value by structuring and analyzing large, complex data sets.
Strong sense of accountability and action orientation.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience with Hyperion or similar consolidation, planning and forecasting tool.
Experience with Workday.
Experience with Helix or other service management tool.
Experience with portfolio management/project management tools.
Experience applying BI&A solutions to a manufacturing environment.
Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
Some experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms like Snowflake or Azure data Warehouse.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Partner with defined functional area (Corporate Digital, Commercial, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain or Environmental and Safety) team to understand business needs.
Suggest potential improvements and new solutions for reporting and analytics to address business needs.
Become an expert in defined functional area's business processes and data sources.
Leverage best practice knowledge to improve the quality of reporting and analytics.
Assist business unit BI&A leads in developing solutions involving moderate to high complexity.
Assist other BI users as needed as part of Charter's self-service enablement with analytical tools.
Collaborate with business subject matter experts, analysts, and offshore team members to develop and deliver accurate analytics and visualizations in a timely manner.
Analyze, interpret, and compile large amounts of data to find impactful insights that drive decision-making.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, including developing requirements for new features and enhancements.
Create Alteryx data sets and Tableau visualizations following governance standards and processes, ensuring data accuracy.
Prioritize BI&A backlog across the functions in alignment with business strategy and performance targets.
Provide visibility to the prioritization process.
In alignment with enterprise-wide BI&A team, stay current with trends in the BI&A space, including best practices.
Ensure best practices are shared across the enterprise where applicable.
Key driver of change as we continue to migrate to a data driven culture.
Teach, train, and educate others across the organization with respect to best practices for presenting and analyzing data to deliver business value.
Supervise BI&A professionals focusing on tactical, operational activities within a specified area.
Participate in setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
